Dr. Tokash has been practicing occupational therapy (OT) for 27 years with a focus on neuro rehabilitation and traumatic brain injuries. Prior to academia, she served as supervisor for OT at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn. Her focus has been on occupation-based practice and advocating for best practice initiatives as well as innovative interprofessional pedagogical approaches to foster all learning styles. She is a published researcher and presents her work at regional, national, and global conferences. Her accolades include receiving the 2023 Deans Award for Outstanding Teaching.
