Summertime Stories: Telling Stories through Digital Photography & Printmaking

We are excited to offer a collaboration between 男女操逼视频软件 and the International Center of Photography. During this 2-week course, students will learn from Pace faculty and professionals in the areas of digital photography and printmaking.

In week 1, students will visit ICP studio where they will be introduced to basic principles of digital imagemaking, from composition to exploring the effects of light. Through photographic assignments, whether venturing throughout NYC or staying closer to home, students expand their understanding of the technical and aesthetic possibilities of digital capture and output on the subject matter of their choice. Through writing exercises, different techniques will be presented for using words with images. Critiques led by faculty and guest artists will foster confidence in storytelling, as students discuss their work and reflect upon their progress.

During the second week, students will visit Pace's studio where classes will focus on material explorations, as most college portfolio requirements ask students to submit work showcasing a variety of processes and mediums. This week will be dedicated to mixed media with a special emphasis on printmaking - an exciting artistic discipline.

By the end of the course, students will have developed a series of images with accompanying text that tell their summertime stories. On the last day of the program, parents are invited to a final showcase where students will display their finished pieces.
